A Special Maintenance Experience at REC ASU!
During the last 24 hours, our REC team @ Applied Science University جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة had a unique maintenance experience with a very special teamwork efforts!
In these days Shafa Badran region (Amman) is recording relatively high wind speeds, which, for safety, activates the "Table Position" in our solar tracking systems.
When the weather stabilizes, and with few monitoring system controls, the tracking system should reactivate its normal tracking operating mode (Automatic Mode). But yesterday that wasn't the case! The table position was still activated. So, we had to choose between contacting the German Expert or doing our job! .... And sure we decided to make it by ourselves.
We tried to analyse the system step by step, and device by device...
And we solved part of the problem during the first day... then we got back to work today. But this time, we did our homework :)
After few checks for the motors, connections and limit switches, and the operation manuals in hand, everything is fine now. And we found the problem source and it was fixed by our qualified engineers.
Few moments ago, we did the last check and it is working 100% by our Jordanian experts @ the Faculty of Engineering, ASU!
