Wind Power

Wind Power

Wind power is the use of air flow through wind turbines to mechanically power generators for electricity. Wind power, as an alternative to burning fossil fuels, is plentiful, renewable, widely distributed, clean, produces no greenhouse gas emissions during operation, consumes no water, and uses little land.

Wind power is set to play an increasingly significant part in the future energy system of Jordan, the Applied science university has the lead of installing wind energy systems.

A 5000 watt whisper wind turbine installed at ASU, it's an off grid system included a battery system that uses the wind and solar energy to produce useful energy.
